My Life is Baseball
5/10/09 - Hey, my name is Landry and today I was coming in from outside after playing catch with one of my best friends, Rei, when my mom asked me to come over to her. Now before I get too much into that story let me tell you about an old website I had called www.clevelandfan.webs.com. This was a website that I decided to create because I was bored and I wanted to write about baseball. I worked on it for about a month and told my dad about it, so he told all of his friends at work. About 3 weeks later I eventually got bored of my website and so I forgot about it. Now back to my other story. I came over to my mom and she was on my old website. She told me to look at some comments on my old abandoned website and I was surprised to find quit a few. The ones that enspired me the most where the ones by yankdol1. She was telling me about how she loves the site and it's better for information than ESPN.com. I was amazed. After seing this I sprinted down to my room and got working on my new website. Yep, you guessed it, MyLifeisBaseball.webs.com. Unlike my other website this will have baseball info, my personal baseball opinion, and probably some stuff about baseball cards. So enough about the website itself, what about the name? My Life is Baseball, what could that mean? Well I don't know, maybe it could mean that I love baseball and will love it all my life! It all started when I went to an Indians Orioles game in 06 with my dad and my sister. It was the first baseball game that I really got into. Even though the Indians lost, I still loved that game alot. That was back when the Tribe had Aaron Boone, Ben Broussard, and Ronnie Belliard. They stunk yet I loved them. At that time my favorite baseball player was CC Sabathia. So before that my dad was always asking me to play catch with him and I couldn't care less about baseball. The only reason I played baseball was because I thought I would be letting my dad down if I didn't. Now I want to play baseball every second I can! That baseball game totally changed my perception on baseball forever. Now it is my dream to become a centerfielder for the Cleveland Indians, who have always and will forever be my favorite baseball team.
